Authorities in Blount County are searching for a missing young boy. Blount County 911 Dispatch confirms Snead Police and Fire and Blount County Sheriff’s Office is searching on land and air near Snead on Brighstar Road. We’re told a boy wandered off around lunchtime and hasn’t been seen since. Authorities are searching wooded areas by foot and by helicopter.
