Tim Kelly produces WHNT News 19 at 9:00 p.m. three nights a week. He also produces our weekend newscasts.

Tim was born in Chicago, but moved to Huntsville at just two years old. After graduating from Huntsville High School, Tim went on to Auburn University, where he graduated with a degree in Mass Communications in 2008.

Tim loves the Chicago Cubs, which gives him a cynical sense of humor he occasionally parlays into stand-up comedy. He’s got a great sense of humor and keeps us laughing constantly.

    A pedestrian is recovering in the hospital after being hit by a car in Colbert County Monday night. According to police, just after 10:00 Monday night the victim was hit while walking along 6th Street in Nitrate City, just off 2nd Street.     HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police are looking for a vehicle that hit a man on Madison Boulevard Thursday night. Around 9:45 p.m. a man was walking west on Madison Boulevard near Slaughter Road when he was struck by a car.  Police say it may be a silver BMW 325i missing a passenger side mirror.     HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A three-vehicle wreck on South Memorial Parkway shut down both sides of the road Tuesday morning.  The wreck happened around 6:15.  Huntsville Police released new information on the wreck Wednesday morning.     Huntsville Police responded to a shooting Friday morning that sent one man to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition. The shooting happened just after 5:00 am at a private party in a building on Evangel Circle. Police have identified the victim as 37-year-old Kevin Wilson of Huntsville.     One person is fighting for his life after his car slammed into a tree in north Huntsville. Around 3:30 a.m. Huntsville Police responded to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Meridian Street and Baxter Avenue.  The accident left emergency crews in awe at the severity of the impact.  The vehicle was cut in two.
