Lisa Screws is the weekday producer for WHNT News 19 at 5:00 p.m. She grew up in Arab, Alabama and is a proud graduate of the University of Alabama.

Lisa has worked as a news producer for 25 years in markets in Birmingham, Richmond, and Huntsville.

Lisa also has experience teaching broadcasting classes at the high school and college level.

She has a daughter who is also a Bama grad and now works in the Athletic Department there.

Lisa has three rambunctious dogs who provide lots of entertainment.
