    Huntsville police responded to stabbing at Creek Bend Terrace Apartments

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A man is recovering after being stabbed by his girlfriend multiple times. It happened at Creek Bend Terrace apartments in the 3400 block of Venona Avenue in Huntsville early Saturday morning. A Huntsille Hospital employee notified Huntsville Police of a man with several knife wounds to the arm, chest and side.     Huntsville Police: Juvenile Hit by Bullet on Galaxy Way

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Huntsville responded to a shots fired call in the area of Galaxy Way. Officers say when they arrived the call updated to a shooting into an occupied dwelling. Police tell us when they were investigating the call, a juvenile victim arrived at Huntsville Hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers are still investigating.      


    Police Arrest Three Teens for Attempted Burglary in Huntsville

    Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Huntsville arrested three teenage girls after a burglary Sunday Morning. Police say they were called to the Cell Tech store on University drive. Officers told us an employee from an area business near Cell Tech saw three people with towels on their heads kicking in the front door.     FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) –  Police in Florence have now identified a theft suspect with the help of the community. Police released a surveillance image late Saturday night. Officers have not released his name to the public just yet, but say they do know who he is.

    ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) – An official sign that summer is here, The Athens pool is now open for the season. People spent the day splashing and cooling off at the Sportsplex. If you don’t know where that is, the building is right off the I-65 exit on US 31.     HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Huntsville responded to a cutting at the Classic Wheels Night Club. The Classic Wheels Night Club is located off of Memorial Parkway. The two Victims told police they were approached by an unknown person who started arguing with them.     Etowah County Deputies Search For Missing Inmate

    GADSDEN, Ala. (WHNT) – The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in finding an escaped inmate. Deputies say 46 year old Vincente Castaneda escaped from the Etowah County Detention Center early Saturday morning. They say he was a working in the kitchen and escaped from the gate nearby. Deputies believe Castaneda took off his jail clothing because they found the pants and shirt shortly after he escaped.   • Shots Fired Into Occupied Apartment In Huntsville

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police in Huntsville responded to a call of shots fired into an apartment located on the 1500 block of Beard Street. Police say the victim told them he was sitting on his porch when he saw two males shooting at each other. The victim then told police one of the bullets entered his apartment where his daughter and great nephew were at the time. Police said there were no injuries.
