Madison, Ala. – Madison Police tell us they are working two crime scenes at Highland Drive and Miller Boulevard. That intersection is in the Woodland Hills Subdivision in Madison.

They say they were called out to Highland Drive for a domestic dispute. When police arrived, they say a man fled the home, got into his truck and backed into a police cruiser where an officer was sitting inside.

Officers say the man then drove off into the subdivision and hit another patrol car.

One officer drew his weapon and fired shots. They say the man ran, but police were able to apprehend him.

Police do not believe the man was injured.

Both officers inside of the patrol cars were injured and taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
