Limestone County Deputies conduct a manhunt, suspect is still at large

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a manhunt in the area of Harris Loop.

Deputy Stephen Young said that Jason Mace fled the scene when deputies attempted to serve a felony warrant on Thursday.

Authorities confirmed that dogs from the Limestone Correctional Facility are being utilized in the search.

Deputies recovered narcotics, a cell phone, and a pistol during the search.

Deputies confirmed that Jason Mace is still at large at this time.

Deputy Stephen Young said that Sheriff Mike Blakely has called off the search for Mace at this time, but he is still at large.
