Firefighter calls for medical help while fighting brush fire in Limestone County

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – Officials with Limestone County 911 say a firefighter reported problems from heat exhaustion while fighting a brush fire Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say EMS responded to help the firefighter.

The brush fire was just northeast of Athens between Holt Road and Black Road. That blaze is now under control. Crews from Elkmont and Piney Chapel responded to fight the fire.
