HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Lowe Mill and Vertical House Records are hosting a “Stranger Things” themed Christmas party Saturday in Railroad Room # 9. And once you enter The Upside Down…you’ll only find the strangest of things. Lowe Mill is recreating the Byers’ family living room and more, not forgetting the most essential details.

“The Ouija board wall paper is probably one of the high points,” notes Matthew Bakula, Lowe Mill’s event coordinator. “It’s interactive, people can type whatever they want to conjure on the wall and they can speak to whoever they are missing in their lives.”

Attendees are encouraged to come with ugly Barb sweaters, dressed as your favorite character, or even with a bloody nose. There will be a Demogorgon photo booth, an Eggo waffle bar, and a Dungeon and Dragons-themed dance floor with a 20-sided disco ball spinning all night long.

You can find more information on the event’s Facebook page.

The party starts at 8 p.m. and is going till midnight. Attendees can pay $10 for entrance at the door. Or– if you dress up, ride your bike, or show up with a bloody nose, you get in for half price!
