Madison, AL- Five months after committing to Alabama, James Clemens defensive back Kyriq McDonald made it official. The three-star prospect signed on the dotted line in front of friends and family on Monday. McDonald says his decision had a lot to do with the man at the helm.
"If Nick Saban invited you to a private practice and offered you, how could you say no to Nick Saban honestly?" said McDonald. "I mean, you're getting coached by the best. It's a dream of mine to play for Nick Saban himself."
According to 247Sports Composite, McDonald is the No. 43 cornerback in the country. He says he'll play star, strong safety, free safety and special teams at Alabama.
McDonald is set to graduate this month and enroll early. He will report to the Capstone in January.
