HUNTSVILLE, Al. – The Alabama Forestry Commission has lifted its burn restriction for the state, but the Rogersville Volunteer Fire Department says to be cautious.

The Department says the cold and dry conditions are not good for burning outside. According to the Department, wildfires have been breaking out across the county for the past two days.

The Fire Department asks that you be careful and make sure that any fire lit outside is adequately maintained.
