MADISON, Ala. - Madison Police have reopened the westbound lanes of Madison Boulevard. Earlier, they had the lanes blocked from Celtic Dr. to Sullivan St. because of a business fire.

The fire was at Austin's Furniture where a witness saw heavy smoke coming from the back of the building and called 911.

"We'll look at the outside of the building and then we'll make entry and we'll try to look at the area around the fire and just try to piece everything back together, basically just a puzzle, try to trace everything back to where it started," said Charles Williams, a Madison Fire and Rescue Investigator.

Investigators say there was no one inside the store at the time of the fire.

There is no word on how much damage was done to the building or inventory inside.
