Growing up, one of my favorite Christmas traditions was participating in Tuba Christmas at the CNN Center in Atlanta, as well as marching in various parades with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band.

This year, I am excited to participate in Tuba Christmas again, this time with the Huntsville community.

I do want to thank the James Clemens High School Marching Band for lending me a horn for the event!

Tuba Christmas will take place in Huntsville on Sunday, December 4, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church at 301 Drake Avenue.

Registration starts at 1 p.m. and a rehearsal at 1:30pm. It costs $10 to participate, but the performance is free and open to the public, and it begins at 4 p.m. The conductor is Dr. Danny Hutson, and the coordinator is Philip Moore.
