Tinsel Trail trees make way to Big Spring Park East

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The smell of pine is now in the air as Downtown Huntsville Inc. sets up the Christmas trees for the Tinsel Trail.

Once everything is set up, 263 trees will fill Big Spring Park East. Each one is decorated by local businesses or groups around town.

Ellery Miller with Downtown Huntsville, Inc. says having the trail in Big Spring Park East will make for a whole new experience. "It's going to be like a bowl of light down here -- just bright and festive for you to walk around downtown," said Miller.

All but 30 of the 263 trees have been sold, so if you have the desire to decorate one, there is still time.
