HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – If you are looking for something to do for Veterans Day, we have an idea for you!

Thousands of people are packing the streets of downtown Huntsville today to celebrate our Tennessee Valley veterans.

Streets are closing at 11:11 a.m when the Veteran’s Day Parade begins.

Monroe Street around Veterans Memorial Park is closed, as well as Green Street to Williams Avenue and a portion of Clinton Avenue.

We encourage everyone to join in the festivities, but if you plan to spend this chilly morning inside, you may want to avoid Downtown Huntsville until 1:30 p.m.!
