MADISON, Ala. - Hayden is an All-American boy -- he likes LEGOS, just like many kids.  Thursday, he got a huge surprise with some of his favorite movie characters there to cheer him on.

Intergraph and Hexagon teamed up with Make-A-Wish Alabama to grant a big wish for Hayden and his family. Hayden learned he is going to LEGOLAND!

Hayden Hulsey and his family have been through a lot of changes in the past few years.  He was a normal 6-year-old boy who loved the outdoors, animals, mud, bonfires and playing with LEGOS until he was in an accident in 2015.  It caused him to be paralyzed from the neck down and caused respiratory failure.  Now, at age 8, Hayden is in a wheelchair and uses a ventilator at all times.

When Hayden was referred to Make-A-Wish Alabama, his love of outdoors, LEGOS, animals and watching National Geographic shows made his wish a simple one –to go to the San Diego Zoo and LEGOLAND.

On Thursday, employees from Hexagon, Intergraph and representatives from Make-A-Wish surprised Hayden and his family.  They brought in characters from Star Wars to help, too!   Hayden says he's very excited.

The family will leave on the trip in the coming days.
