HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Looking for a training opportunity that helps you make your communications more impactful? The BIG Marketing & PR Event takes place Friday October 28 and promises to do that so you can grow your business.
The BIG Event is a daylong experience for marketing & PR professionals, small business owners, and non-profit organizations. The topics focus on specific, usable takeaways to help you make your marketing more effective, your campaigns more data-driven, and your budget dollars better spent.
The event is presented by the Women's Business Center of North Alabama and the North Alabama chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama. It will be held in the Von Braun Center East Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Attendees start the morning learning with keynote speaker and Big Leap Creative Founder Lisa Gerber as she explains how to use story to influence action and provides specific strategies for good business storytelling.
Huntsville's own Destin Sandlin will be the lunch keynote. Sandlin is both a Huntsville engineer and an international YouTube personality. His YouTube channel Smarter Every Day has over 4 million subscribers.
The BIG Event offers ten breakout sessions on practical topics: Photography, style guides, social tips for Instagram and Snapchat, an events panel discussion – even immersive technology, like virtual reality experiences and 360-video, are topics to be covered that day.
This year includes a dedicated track for digital media, sponsored by our very own 19DigitalMedia team. An expert from Google will talk about customer decision moments and offer tips on mobile site usability. Other digital speakers will talk about Google Analytics and using your data to make better marketing decisions.
