Mother and Son arrested for meth in Rainsville

RAINSVILLE, Ala – Authorities arrested  a mother and son October 18th after finding drugs in their residence.

The Powell and Sylvania Police Departments went to the residence on County Road 572 to serve felony warrants to Justin Tyler Jackson, 25, for third degree escape and failure to appear. After arriving, they saw drugs in plain sight. Dekalb County investigators were then called to the scene.

As a result, Justin Jackson and his mother Gloria Patterson, 40,  were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dekalb County Sheriff Harris says, “Thanks to the Powell and Sylvania Police Departments for continuing to work with us and made these arrests possible.”
