Police arrest suspect for damaging property at Eagle Up Driving Range

Arrested by Athens PD for criminal mischief and theft of property.

ATHENS, Ala –  Police arrest Corey Jefferson  for damaging a golf ball dispenser at Eagle Up Driving Range on US 72 east.

The damage took place between September 8, 2016 and September 9, 2016.

The destruction to the machine was estimated to be $2768.95. The owner estimates there was $200 taken from the machine.

Jefferson was arrested on warrants for first degree criminal justice and fourth degree theft of property. He was booked at the Athens Police Department and transferred to the county jail.
