Selma woman killed in head-on collision Saturday night, three injured

SELMA, Ala. – According to our news partners at AL.com, State troopers are investigating a crash that happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on Alabama 14 near mile marker 112 in Dallas County leaving a woman killed and three others injured.

Tamera Rena Billingsley Mayo of Selma, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix when she collided head on- with a 2013 Mercedes Benz, driven by Valerie England.

Senior Trooper Reginal King says, Mayo was not wearing a seat belt.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

England and her two passengers were airlifted to hospitals in Birmingham for treatment of their injuries.

Their conditions have not been released at this time.
