Rhett Lashlee “optimistic” for Kerryon Johnson’s return against Arkansas

AUBURN, Ala. (AL.com)- Injured Auburn running back Kerryon Johnson returned to practice, though his status for Saturday's game against No. 17 Arkansas is yet to be determined.

Offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee said Johnson, who hurt his right ankle early during the first quarter against Mississippi State, was "out there" running and catching during Sunday night's practice.

"He was moving around," Lashlee said. "He ran the ball some, caught some balls, so it was good to see him out there moving around."
