Auburn domiantes Mississippi State in first road game of season
STARKVILLE, Ms. (Al.com- Kamryn Pettway’s legs, Sean White’s arm and another stellar defensive showing rife with big plays sent Auburn to a dominating victory in its first road trip of the season.
Auburn took control early and never looked back in a 38-14 mauling of Mississippi State before a crowd of 60,102 at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday.
After being held out of last week’s game for precautionary reasons, Pettway returned with a vengeance, racking up 39 carries for 169 yards and three touchdowns, all career-highs.
