Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is celebrating its annual Day of Change. Ronald Individuals, businesses and community groups are invited to support local families with critically-ill children by visiting participating McDonald`s on October 15 and dropping spare change into a RMHC Donation Box.

If every customer in Central and North Alabama dropped a penny into an RMHC Donation Box each time they visited a McDonald`s restaurant, RMHCA could raise more than $865,000 in just one year.

The RMHC Day of Change is the Charity`s annual call to action to support families with children facing medical crises.

A full Donation Box could mean one night in a guest room at a Ronald McDonald House for a family while their child receives medical treatment.

Or, it could mean a comfortable place to rest inside a hospital equipped with a Ronald McDonald Family Room just steps from a child in the NICU.

Each time you donate your spare change at a McDonald`s restaurant, you are helping a family stay close to their child during a very trying time.

The resources provided by a Ronald McDonald House, not only keeps these parents close by, but also allows them to be better equipped to make important medical decisions for their children.
