Former American Idol contestant arrested on drug charges in Alabama

WALKER COUNTY, Ala.-The Walker County Sheriff’s Office confirms 13 people were arrested Thursday.  The arrests are connected to 18 search warrants, 14 for selling drugs.

Among the arrested are former American idol contestant Curtis “C.J.” Harris, age 25, of Jasper.  He is charged with 3 counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance.  He’s accused of selling Oxycodone and Marijuana.

C.J. Harris finished 6th during the 13th season of American Idol.  Caleb Johnson was that year’s winner.
