Inmates Injured at Springville Correction Facility

SPRINGVILLE, Ala. – An Alabama prison is on lockdown following a fight among inmates.
The Alabama Department of Corrections says five inmates were injured in the fight the broke out around 6 p.m. on Sunday inside an inmate dorm at the St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville.
The injured inmates were taken to an offsite medical facility.  The severity of their injuries is not known.
No corrections officers were injured.
