Dry but cooler temperatures in place for Football Friday

If you have been waiting earnestly for the cool, crisp weather that accompanies fall, guess what -- the wait is over!

An upper level low pressure system will continue to funnel temperate air into the Tennessee Valley, and while daytime highs will reach the 70s on Friday afternoon, those temperatures will drop like a rock shortly after sunset. It would be smart to grab a jacket before heading out to the game -- expect upper 50s to low 60s by the 4th quarter.

Other than that, it will be a pleasantly dry evening for football, with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the Valley.
