Auburn falls to Texas A&M in SEC opener

AUBURN, Ala. (al.com) - After rolling up more than 700 yards in a Week 2 win over Arkansas State, Auburn opened SEC play Saturday night with a 29-16 loss to No. 17 Texas A&M.

Texas A&M (3-0, 1-0 SE) got five field goals from Daniel LaCamera in the win. Quarterback Trevor Knight passed for 247 yards and 59 on the ground and the Aggies got 127 yards out of running back Trayveon Williams, who busted an 89-yard run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Auburn (1-2, 0-1) totaled 399 yards, led by Sean White's 126 though the air. Kamryn Pettway rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown while Kerryon Johnson had 64 yards on 15 attempts and a touchdown.
