HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Morgan County Rescue Squad says it is now in charge of a recovery operation on the Tennessee River.
Earlier this morning Huntsville Police, HEMSI and rescuers from several different teams were searching for missing boaters. The Huntsville Madison County Resque Squad pulled three people from the water safely.
Teams are still looking for one other person.
As part of a mutual aid agreement, Huntsville called in rescuers from Morgan and Limestone Counties as well as Lacey's Spring water rescue to help in the search.
A call came in to 911 around 4:45 a.m. We understand that initial report was for someone who fell in the water and didn't resurface.
