STAC and ALEA Agents discover large amount of Ice during raid

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. – Agents with the Madison-Morgan STAC Unit uncovered a large amount of the drug Ice during a raid at a residence on Monday.

The raid was a culmination of an extensive investigation conducted by the STAC Unit and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Agents searched a home in the 26000 block of Hwy 72 and uncovered 20 oz. of Methamphetamine Ice with an estimated street value of $70,000.  They also seized $7,000 in cash.

35-year-old Galvan Franco has been charged with trafficking Methamphetamine and is being held in the Madison County Metro Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Authorities say that the investigation is ongoing and Agents hope to make additional arrests.
