Second arrest made in July 5th Broadmor Rd. shooting

On July 5th two people were shot and killed inside a home on Broadmor Road in Huntsville.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — 18-year-old Tyrek Wayne Jamar has been charged with one count of capital murder by the Huntsville Police Department, following the shooting deaths of Jaylen Cosby and Khayree Austin on July 5.

Both Cosbye and Khayree were killed inside a home on Broadmor Road on July 5.  Jamar is being held in the Madison County jail without bond.

On August 4th investigators charged the first suspect, Quintrell Campbell with two counts of murder in the case. Campbell is currently being held in the Clayton County Georgia jail awaiting extradition back to Huntsville.

Officials aren’t releasing any more information at this time, but they do say additional arrests are expected. The case is still under investigation, and we will be following any new developments.
