HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – With strong summer storms dropping well over one inch of rain in some neighborhoods, some patchy dense fog is possible first thing Sunday morning.

With a clear sky, calm wind and wet ground in spots, fog will likely develop late Saturday night. Areas that saw rain Saturday afternoon have the best chance of seeing fog around sunrise Sunday.

The visibility may be as low as one mile between 4 and 7 a.m. Sunday. Check traffic conditions before you head to church by using the WHNT News 19 app.

Any fog that does form will lift between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m., giving way to a partly cloudy sky for the rest of the day. While a stray shower or storm is possible Sunday afternoon, the chance is much lower than Saturday.
