NEW VIDEO: Police Chase from Cullman County ends in crash in Decatur

DECATUR, Ala. - A man and a Cullman County deputy crashed in a chase that ended in Decatur, Friday.

Both the deputy and the man are in good health, despite the crash.  Curtis Bakley is in jail, charged with numerous traffic violations.

It started in the Vinemont area when deputies were called to a domestic disturbance. When they arrive, Bakley took of on Hwy 31 toward Decatur.

The pursuit ended in a wreck near the state trooper post on Hwy 31.

State Troopers, Morgan County Sheriff's Office and Decatur Police all assisted with the pursuit. The Cullman County Sheriff's Office wants to thank all agencies for their assistance.
