Marvin’s material store set to close

DECATUR, Ala.- Marvin’s Building Materials store is officially closing its Decatur location after 24 years in business.

Marvin’s first opened its doors in Decatur in 1992. Marvin’s spokesperson told WHNT News 19, “our associates  will be treated with respect and dignity through the process. There will be assistance for the ones staying in the Decatur market and searching for new employment. That assistance will vary depending on the need of the associate.”

The last day of retail operations will be July 2.
