MADISON, Ala. – Madison Firefighters are on the scene of a fire on Alden Bridge Court, just south of James Clemens High School, working on a home apparently destroyed by fire. The emergency crews and their equipment caused the road to be closed down for several hours.

The fire started around 4:30 this morning at the two-story home.

Five people and two dogs now have to find a new place to live.

Firefighters are looking into what caused the blaze this morning. The road is now back open to traffic.
