REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. – The U.S. Army Redstone Test Center has upgraded its Forward Operating Base Entry Control Point Test Area.  The area is now a copy of the kind of FOB soldiers might use in the field.

The RTC wants to make sure the Forward Operating Bases are safe, by making sure the equipment that monitors foot and vehicle entry into a base is doing the best job possible.

Among the equipment used in monitoring a base entry control point are hardware and software systems. Those systems have to be tested for effective integration before they can go live on an actual deployment.
