Public invited to Boy Scouts’ annual Culture Day on Feb. 27 at Alabama A&M University

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Next weekend, you have a wonderful opportunity to learn about different cultures from around the world thanks to a free event at Alabama A&M University.

The Boy Scouts of America’s Greater Alabama Council presents the annual Culture Day gathering.  It’s Saturday, February 27 at Elmore Gym on the campus of AAMU.  Events will take place throughout the day, and the public is invited to come from 1-3 p.m. to meet with people from different cultures.

Countries that will have displays include Australia, China, Egypt, Panama, The Philippines, Poland, Scotland and Ukraine.

The Boy Scouts’ Urban Emphasis Scouts Leader Council works to present events like this to promote culture awareness and education.
