Flood damage to Shaw Road will cause traffic problems for Browns Ferry
LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Shaw Road in Limestone County is washed out. The road is closed from Paradise Shores Road to Douglas Drive.
Commissioner Jason Black shared his concerns because this road is the main thoroughfare to Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.
Repairs to this washout could take anywhere from four days to two weeks. The county is concerned about this getting worse and Monday’s traffic.
Currently there is a detour from Lawngate Road to Browns Ferry.
