Fire crews respond to overnight house fire

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Crews responded to a fire overnight that forced two adults and a child from a home.

It happened around midnight on the 2800 block of Cora Hill Avenue just off Pulaski Pike in Huntsville.

Firefighters reported seeing light smoke once they arrived at the home.  Crews were able to get the fire knocked out within minutes.

Officials report the fire damaged an area above the stove.
