HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A Madison County grand jury handed down a murder indictment for a Huntsville man accused of murdering a woman whose body was found near Lowe Mill in August.

Ryon Oneal Russell is charged in connection to the murder of 57-year-old Peggy Lynn Chambers Teichmiller.

Officials said they found Teichmiller’s body in the Pinhook Creek Canal on August 5. Huntsville Police Department Lt. Darryl Lawson said investigators were able to determine that she was murdered.
