Toney, Ala. (WHNT)– Around 2PM, Toney Fire & Rescue responded to 2744 Ready Section Road  after a call about a fire at a residence. Bobo Fire & Rescue and HEMSI also came to assist.
Fire crews say no one was injured after three mobile homes had caught fire. Two of the fires were easily put out, but the third mobile home was destroyed.
Firefighters say all the homes were unoccupied, and that mobile home park has been closed for a while. The Alabama State Fire Marshals office is looking into the cause of the fire. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arson task force is also working on it.
Meanwhile, firefighters say Madison County is under an ADEM burn ban until November 1st.  ADEM issues an open burning ban from May 1 through October 31 in Baldwin, DeKalb, Etowah, Jefferson, Lawrence, Madison, Mobile, Montgomery, Morgan, Shelby, Russell and Talladega counties.
