This month, Adrian Bone, a senior at Buckhorn High School, has decided to host a kickball tournament to "kick out" breast cancer. On Oct. 24, the Kick Out Breast Cancer kickball tournament will be held at Sharon Johnston Park to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. The tournament starts at 8 a.m. and goes to 7 p.m. The cost to participate is $5 for adults, 13 and older, and $3 for youths, 8-12 years old.

Adrian thought up this event for two reasons. First, his family has been affected by breast cancer. Second, he wanted the community to come together for something rather than tragedy. He is attempting to raise over $5,000 . To sign up or buy t-shirts, contact Adrian Bone at abone604@gmail.com or Taylor Edwards at taylor_edwards@yahoo.com.
