Angel Tree registration for Madison County taking place first full week of October

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Volunteers will register eligible families for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program from October 5-9.

To apply, you can visit the Salvation Army in Huntsville at 2114 Oakwood Avenue. The hours are:

  • October 5, 2015 from 8:30am until 4:00pm
  • October 6, 2015 from 8:30am until 7:00pm
  • October 7, 2015 from 8:30am until 4:00pm
  • October 8, 2015 from 8:30am until 4:00pm
  • October 9, 2015 from 8:30am until 7:00pm

Kids between ages 1-12 can qualify. If you want to sign up, you need to bring:

  • Picture ID for all adults in the household
  • Birth certificate for each eligible child
  • Custody paper if applicable
  • Lease Agreement, rent receipt, or mortgage payment booklet which shows proof of address
  • Proof of all income, earned and unearned, for every member of your household
  • Proof of all bills for household
  • Tenant Profile if applicable (HUD/Section 8)
