Fire officials investigating late night structure fire

LEXINGTON, Ala. (WHNT)– Firefighters are finishing up putting out a structure fire in Lexington.

It happened in an old storage building off of Hwy. 101. The building was being converted into a location designed for making wooden furniture.

No one was hurt in the fire, but a firefighter did fall off of a ladder while battling the blaze. He is expected to be alright.

Fire officials say the fire is collapsing on itself and will be extinguished soon.
