HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Manna House works to help families, and their four-legged fur babies,  through hard times. They are able to do this through community donations.

The goal is to help keep families together during tough times. Lanier Ford is teaming up with the organization to do just that.

The law firm is hosting a two-week pet supply drive to rev up donations. Last year, with help from the community, they collected 2,000 pounds of food. This year, the goal is to raise 5,000 pounds.

“Bring us unwanted pet food, treats, and gently used bedding, toys, bowls, leashes,” said Aubrie Kavanaugh, a paralegal at Lanier Ford.

The drive goes from August 17th through the 28th.

Kavanaugh said it's all about helping people, helping pets and keeping families together.

“These pets bring value to the family in ways we never really know," said Kavanaugh.
