HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Today, crews are making the final preparations for this week's Space and Missile Defense Symposium.

It's the 18th annual gathering of the space and missile defense community here in the Rocket City.  Starting Tuesday morning at the Von Braun Center South Hall, some 3,000 attendees will be checking out more than 200 exhibits that will feature the very latest cutting edge technology.

There will also be seminars as the space and missile defense community hears from military and defense industry experts on just where we are, and where we're headed.

If you'd like to check out the exhibits, you can.  The symposium is open to the public.  You just need to bring a photo ID, and you can get in at 9:45 each morning.

The symposium runs from Tuesday morning through Thursday at Noon.
