Astronauts tasting lettuce grown aboard the ISS

“That’s one small bite for a man, one giant leaf for mankind.” Astronauts Scott Kelly, Kjell Lindgren and Kimiya Yui of Japan have been harvesting lettuce at the International Space Station.

Today, they got a chance to sample their crop.

Based on their reaction, it looks like the experiment of success.
