LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. - Someone driving on Interstate 565 called 911 around 1:00 a.m. Thursday after seeing a vehicle go off the road and down an embankment, where it hit a telephone pole. The car caught fire shortly after. When emergency crews got to the scene, though, the driver was not there.

This happened on the access road to I-565 just east of Mooresville Road.

Huntsville firefighters responded to the scene and put the fire out. But the driver must have walked away, because no one was in he area when emergency crews searched the area.

That driver still has not been found.
