GURLEY, Ala. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says a truck has lost its load on Highway 72 East near Rock Cut Road in Gurley. The mess is blocking one of the eastbound lanes.

It appears as though a truck lost several large rolls of Aluminum.

Both eastbound lanes were blocked for roughly an hour when this first happened.

Emergency crews on the scene say the truck will is functional and will be able to drive away, but the trailer is not. So you can expect crews to be out there working to clear everything for some time.
