UPDATE: Colbert County Sheriff’s Office finds 3 missing juveniles, all are safe

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. – The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office says the three missing children have been located. They are current with Colbert County investigators. Muscle Shoals Police are also on their way to the location.

The children are safe, and the sheriff’s office says they will be reunited with family members soon.

The sheriff’s office thanked everyone for their help in finding the kids. Investigators say they are very busy processing information at this time, but plan to release more information later today.

The juveniles are Alexandra Maggie Michelle Vinson, 12, Nichelos Chase Vinson, 14 and Kyleigh Alexia Fleming, 13.

Family members of the Vinson children, who are brother and sister, notified the Sheriff’s Office the two had run away on Wednesday and had sent a text to their mother saying they were okay, they had eaten and had water. They said they were near Walmart in Muscle Shoals. ┬áThe Vinsons had run away while they were at their great grandmother’s house, from the 2000 block of River Road in Muscle Shoals.
