HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Wild Bean Coffee Company coffee truck is serving everyone's favorite morning beverage Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until around 10 a.m. in downtown Huntsville.

"We like to serve up joy and happiness, you know the mornings are hard for a lot of people," Owner and Operator Shelby Ward said.

For Ward, the idea for a small coffee business started in Houston when he worked at a roastery.

"I got inspired," Ward said. "I turned into a caffeinated soul."

When his journey brought him to the Rocket City, the inspiration came from seeing the food trucks.

"It's amazing what the food culture is doing here in Huntsville with the food trucks, and it's cheaper," Ward said.

Thus, the Wild Bean Coffee Company was born. Ward said his small business gives him the chance to make personal connections with his customers.

"I just want to serve people with a smile and kind of go above and beyond, just be kind to people," Ward explained.

You can find the coffee truck parked just across from Below the Radar, at 219 Holmes Avenue, every weekday morning.
