Decatur, Ala. (WHNT) Jimmy Reist still has the best parking space at Burningtree Country Club, but he would trade it in for another shot at the back nine Sunday. The 52-year old Hartselle resident has won the Club Championship 7 out of the last 8 years, but never the Spirit of America. His latest disappointment came Sunday in a playoff against two golfers 30 years his junior.

Henderson State golfer Brice Howard prevailed with a par on the second playoff hole. He joins a prestigious list of golfers to win the Spirit of America Golf Classic. "It's cool I guess putting my name on a trophy like that, It clarifies it for me that I have a little game at least."
